E&I vocational training program in Timor Leste – 3rd group Graduation Ceremony

The 3rd Electrical and Instrumentation vocational training program in Timor Leste  was successfully  completed and the program culminated in the Graduation Ceremony of the 20 students on May 11th with the program sponsors and local industrialists. Congratulations to the fresh graduates!

Out of the 120 applications received, the 20 graduates were successfully trained to a level equivalent to OPITO Oil & Gas level 2 in Electrical Engineering Maintenance by our Lead Instructor David McCulloch and are arguably the best trained electrical technicians in the country.

A week after the program was completed, 5 students were already placed in the local industry and 15 other placement opportunities were being discussed.

Also, this third implementation built on the previous occurrences to significantly increase the know-how transfer to the local trainers who were involved in all training activities throughout the program and successfully demonstrated improved technical skills and teaching competences.

All the parties/sponsors involved praised the success of the program and called for its reconduction. 👏
