Who we are
With more than 40 years of experience in competence development for the Energy Industry, Actemium Competence Assurance and Training earned its first OPITO certification in 2006.
A pioneer in the field, Actemium became in 2015 the first training provider certified to issue OPITO Global 1 & 2 Training Certificates for Process Operations and Maintenance. This commitment to excellence continued in 2020 with accreditation to deliver OPITO-approved Vocational Qualification Certificates up to VQ3 level.
For the past 15 years, Actemium has continuously invested in the development of its team, resulting in more than 200 professionals certified as OPITO Assessors or Internal Verifiers.
Today, Actemium offers a wide range of services in the field of training and skills management.

Pace Nigeria – Chevron
OPITO-approved training for production operators, technicians, and supervisors in Nigeria. This project includes classroom programs, on-the-job training onshore and offshore, and full training centre management. More than 600 students have been trained, with 65 Nigerian instructors certified as OPITO Assessors and Verifiers.

Badak LNG – Indonesia
This project delivered vocational training in O&M through classroom, workshop, and on-the-job training. 120 candidates were trained over two years in operations and technical positions.
The training center achived full autonomy and trained instructors as OPITO Assessors. -
West African Power Pool – Ghana
Consultancy for the design, construction and management of technical training centres for the production, transmission and distribution of electricity in West Africa

Partnership with Institut Ucac-ICAM Congo
Junior program : 2 years qualification in Congo (ICAM institute) to become industrial maintenance technician with a Maintenance BTS diploma (45 trainees)

Groupement TouatGaz (GTG) – Algeria
This project assessed the knowledge and skills of 120 O&M staff. An asset-specific competence framework and customized e-Brain test were developed. A gap analysis was done, followed by a remedial training plan and training delivery.

East Timor – Santos
This project delivered OPITO Level 1 & 2 vocational training for E&I Technicians in three batches of 20 candidates. All students achieved successful industry placement. The project also upgraded the training center, installed new equipment, and built local capacity by training trainers and staff.

VAALCO – Gabon
This project assessed the knowledge and competence of O&M technicians and supervisors. It provided knowledge training, on-site competence assessments to OPITO standards, and individual development plans. In-house trainers and assessors were trained, and recruitment tests were created.

Pace Nigeria – TotalEnergies & ExxonMobil
An offshore competence assessment campaign was conducted on 2 FPSOs, covering all maintenance disciplines and positions. More than 1000 assessments were performed to OPITO standards using the Skills Designer system. A Training Needs Analysis and targeted training supported the nationalisation of supervisory positions.

Perenco – Increasing the skills of technical staff
Training program in Africa: redesigned plan to upskill national staff through a dedicated center, with standards, materials, CMS, experts, and skills transfer.
